Pam Tom

Pam Tom, a graduate of the UCLA film program, is a filmmaker and director committed to exploring and promoting cultural diversity through her work. She is a former instructor of Los Angeles’ Visual Communications, an Asian Pacific American media arts organization. Tom is perhaps best known for her film TWO LIES, a precursor to more recent works dealing with physical alteration and cultural assimilation. She is currently the director of Project: Involve, a program of the Independent Feature Project/West, an outreach program founded to support and promote culturally diverse filmmaking within the film industry.
