Assia Djebar
Assia Djebar has a Doctorate in French Literature and Civilization, from the Ancienne élève de l´Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris. She is currently a Professor of Francophone Literature and Civilization at New York University. She is an accomplished and award winning author, critic and filmmaker.
