David Meyer

Mr. Meyer is a filmmaker with experience both as a producer for network television and many years as an independent producer. He was a producer with ABC News "20/20" for five years before becoming an independent and running his own production company. His films and television productions have received many important awards, among them the Emmy Award and the Christopher Award, and have been exhibited in many festivals worldwide. His portrait of songwriter Doc Pomus won the New York Emmy Award in 1987. With International Cinema, he has co-produced, directed, written and edited many films, including The Brazilian Connection; Chile: By Reason or By Force; Home of the Brave; Portrait of a Terrorist; and The Forbidden Land. Mr. Meyer was also co-producer of Roses in December, hailed by TIME Magazine as one of the Ten Best Films of 1982.
