Ranjani Mazumdar
Ranjani Mazumdar is a graduate of the Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islamia University, Delhi, as well as the Department of Cinema Studies, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. She has been making documentaries since 1986 and is also a founding member of Mediastorm, India’s first female film collective. She is an Associate Professor of Cinema Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi and her scholarly research focuses on globalization and film culture as well as gender and visual culture of film posters. She has also been a visiting teaching fellow at Princeton University and the University of Westminster; and visiting faculty at New York University and Jamia Milisa Islamia University.
