Victoria Bruce

Victoria Bruce is a filmmaker/journalist with a background in geology. Her first book, about a volcanic disaster in Colombia, No Apparent Danger, was published in 2001 (HarperCollins). After working in Colombia, she vowed to return to find a story that would bring attention to endless turmoil in the South American country. She has written for National Geographic Adventure magazine, and is a former science writer for NASA and the Portland Oregonian newspaper. Victoria holds a Master’s degree in Geology from the University of California Riverside.
