Nathalie Applewhite

Co-founder and director of vis à vis productions, Nathalie received her BA in Visual Anthropology in 1996 from Temple University as the first undergraduate in the program. She has since worked nationally and internationally on documentaries, educational and commercial productions as a producer, director and editor. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters degree in International Affairs at Columbia University. Prior to this, she worked for three years as a project manager and media specialist at the University of Pennsylvania’s Literacy Research Center. Nathalie is the recipient of the Leeway Foundation's Harmony grant for projects that promote racial, religious and ethnic tolerance.
