Gwynne Basen
Gemini award-winning filmmaker, writer, and activist Gwynne Basen resides in a small Eastern township of Québec where she and her husband purchased a farm in 2000. Here, she pursues her other passion: gardening. She is an active board member of Seeds of Diversity, a national organization committed to growing and preserving heritage and endangered seeds, and Action Communiterre, a Montreal-based community organization that supports urban agriculture and food security projects. She directed the documentary television series "Recreating Eden" (2003-2008). (07/12)
