Titles & Teaching Modules
One of the aims of The Girls Project is to make the films and videos in
this collection accessible to young women and men, their parents,
teachers and community leaders. To facilitate this process we've
created 5 teaching modules with discussion tips and sample activities
that allow young people to explore the themes in the series more in
depth and relate them to their own lives. Organized by the major topics
addressed in The Girls Project - Adolescence/Coming of Age, Body
Image/Sexual Identity, Feminism, U.S. Cultural Identity and Global
Perspectives - these teaching modules can be easily incorporated into
class curricula and other youth-related programs.
We've recently added six New 2005 and 2006 Releases to these modules.
