		Ordering Options Telephone Orders These are taken only for orders paid by Visa, American Express, or MasterCard. Please call (212) 925-0606 x360 between the hours of 10AM to 6PM EST. Written Orders Fax (212) 925-2052 Mail 462 Broadway Suite 500WS, New York, NY 10013) or email orders@wmm.com the Order Form or a letter stating the following information: Customer number if you have previously ordered from Women Make Movies Film or video title(s). Film or video order number. Format (VHS, Betacam 3/4 inch, 16mm, 35mm). Shipping address. including name of department or person to receive order. We must have a street address. No P.O. boxes. Billing address, including name and telephone number of person authorizing payment. Show date(s) (for rentals), or date needed (for sales). For credit card payments, include the card number, name on card, expiration date and signature. All orders must be accompanied by an institutional purchase order or payment. Payment may be made by institutional check, money order, or Visa/MasterCard/American Express. Sorry, no personal checks are accepted. Be sure to check out our Special Offers section before ordering to see if any of the titles you are interested in are on special offer. Sales Sales are generally shipped within 3 weeks. Please specify if a videotape is needed by a particular day and if you require library cases. Orders must be placed at least 2 weeks before the tape is needed, or rush fees will apply. Purchase effectively means lease for the life of the film print or videotape. The prices listed on the website or the print catalog include public performance rights for classroom, organizational or library use by the acquiring institution for non-paying audiences only. Prices listed are for VHS cassette sale. Preview and VHS rental fees may be deducted if cassette is purchased within 90 days. Additional copies of the same title are available for 50% of the list price if purchased at the same time. For PAL versions, add $25 for each VHS. Most 16mm and 35mm prints are available for sale. Please call for more information. Please note that orders for Betacam, PAL, and print sales are special orders and will take 4-8 weeks to fulfill. Rentals Rentals must be placed at least 4 weeks before the show date or rush charges will apply. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs; however, we ask that you provide an alternative showdate at least 2 weeks later than the original date. Prices listed on the title pages are for classroom or organizational use for non-paying audiences. Video rental prices are for a three-day period. Selected titles are now available in Beta video for public exhibition use only for an additional $30 rental fee. Please inquire for title availability and prices. Film rental prices are for one screening only. Additional film screenings on the same day are priced at 50% of the listed rental price. Screenings on additional days are billed at the full rental price. Please call to inquire about paid admission prices. Video rental fees can be applied to the purchase price if purchase is made within 90 days of rental show date. Sorry, previews are not available for rentals, but Women Make Movies staff is available to offer programming assistance. Confirmations For all video rentals, confirmations will be sent to you by mail within one week of receipt of order. For film rentals, confirmations are sent out within two weeks of receipt of order. It is not necessary to telephone to confirm your order unless you do not receive a confirmation. Sorry, we cannot fax confirmations at this time. Return Shipping Rented tapes must be returned the first business day after the three day rental period and renters are responsible for return shipping and insurance for the amount stated on invoice. Film prints must be returned the next business day after screening via UPS 2nd Day Air or FedEx Standard. A late return fee equal to 50% of the rental fee will be charged per day. Renters are liable for any damage to prints or video tapes. Cancellations All rental cancellations are subject to a fee of $10.00 per title. When cancellation is received after the ship date, the full rental fee will apply. Previews Previews are available for 5-day period for purchase consideration only to organizations with established acquisitions budgets. A $20 fee per title applies and is deductible from the purchase price if purchased within 90 days. The preview fee includes shipping. Sale quality videotapes are sent for previews. An additional 10% off the sales price applies if the preview copy is retained for purchase. Sorry, we are unable to extend preview privileges for rentals, tapes on special offer or for low-cost video titles (under $100). Institutions with special preview needs should inquire. Rush Orders A rush fee of $25 per order will apply to rentals with show dates less than 4 weeks from the receipt of the order, and to sales which are needed within 2 weeks from the receipt of the order. Programming Assistance Staff is available to offer programming assistance, written materials, and guidance in selecting appropriate titles. Marta Sanchez, our Distribution and Promotions Coordinator, is available to give you individualized help in choosing the programs that work best for you within your budget. We can also send you written materials on selected titles. Please do not hesitate to contact us. Copyright All of our films and videos are protected by United States copyright law. Duplication, reproduction, alteration, television broadcast or cablecast (except for on-campus closed circuit), loaning for a fee, leasing, sublicensing to others or use for commercial purposes (i.e. charging admission) is strictly prohibited without written permission from Women Make Movies. Discounts and Special Offers Women Make Movies provides special rates for sales to women's groups and community organizations with low budgets; public high schools, public libraries, and multiple title purchases. Please inquire. Refunds Returns for a full refund are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Returns for credit against future purchases are accepted for 90 days after purchase. If you receive a damaged tape, we will replace it at no cost. If a tape is damaged after purchase, a replacement copy can be obtained for 50% of the list price. All damaged tapes must be returned prior to replacement.
