Hollywood Foreign Press Association Grant for WMM

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association recently presented $3.8 million at their Annual Grants Banquet in California, including a grant to support our acclaimed Production Assistance Program.

The Women Make Movies Production Assistance Program was established in 1988 to develop and support women producing independent media. The Program fulfills this mission by offering support services including fiscal sponsorship, individualized consultations, workshops, and networking. Program alum include Cheryl Dunye, supervising producer and director on QUEEN SUGAR; Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, director of the Academy Award winning FREE SOLO; Sandi Tan, director of the Sundance winning SHIRKERS, and many more.
