RED ZONE Wins 1 of 3 Awards at CPH:DOX Pitch Forum!

We are happy to share that RED ZONE (dir. Iryna Tsilyk, prod. Darya Bassel), which was made with the support of our Production Assistance Program, was awarded the Eurimages Development Award at CPH:DOX’s Forum Pitch. This project was one of three to win at CPH:DOX Pitch Forum, one of the biggest documentary film festivals in the world, and came with a €20,000 cash prize.

RED ZONE explores the idea that war not only kills people – it also changes those who survived. A Ukrainian filmmaker, Tsilyk shares her intimate, female perspective on the question of what it means to be a woman in times of war.

CPH:DOX jury shared, “This innovative look at the inner lives of women as they go about their daily lives with humor and courage while in the midst of a terrifying war captivated the imagination of the jury.”

Congratulations to the filmmakers! Read the full article on Variety.
