Jennifer Kawaja

Jennifer Kawaja, an Arab-Canadian, has been working in film for the last 10 years with a special interest in the different images of Arab women. She has directed two films with the National Film Board: Under One Sky and Beyond Borders. Several of the fiction and documentary film she produced and directed have won awards, including from Chicago and Yorkton. She holds degrees in Philosophy and Communications and is currently co-producer at Sienna Films. (12/07)
