Ana Luiza Azevedo

Brazilian screenwriter and director Ana Luiza Azevedo recieved a fine arts degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande du Sol in 1986 and is a member of Casa de Cinema de Porto Alegre. Azevedo has assistant directed multiple feature films, working alongside directors such as Jorge Furtado, Carlos Gerbase, and Carlos Reichenbach, and her work has been represented in various national and international festivals. Her short film THREE MINUTES was the sole Brazilian representative at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival. She has also completed work on the feature film BEFORE THE WORLD ENDS, based on the book by Marcelo Carneiro da Cunha. (07/09)
