Born and raised in Mosul, Iraq and Beirut, Lebanon, Bushra Azzouz is an Arab-American filmmaker who has worked with Native American women, native villages in Borneo and her own family to tell stories of their homes and lives. She teaches at the Northwest Film Center in Portland, Oregon and has researched and developed models for community media in collaboration with the regional Metro government. (7/07)
