WAGING CHANGE and A NORMAL GIRL win Grand Jury Awards at the United Nations Association Film Festival

We are thrilled to announce that two WMM releases, WAGING CHANGE and A NORMAL GIRL, were honored in the 23rd United Nations Association Film Festival (UNAFF).

WAGING CHANGE (Directed by Abby Ginzberg) was awarded the UNAFF Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary. A timely documentary given the pandemic and consequent widespread unemployment, WAGING CHANGE spotlights the women-led movement to revise the federal tipped minimum wage.

A NORMAL GIRL (Directed Aubree Bernier-Clarke and Produced by Shawn Lipton and Pidgeon Pagonis) won the UNAFF Grand Jury Award for Best Short Documentary. The short film explores the often overlooked experiences of intersex people, as told through the perspective of intersex activist Pidgeon Pagonis.

Congratulations AbbyAubree, Shawna, and Pidgeon
