Pascale Schmidt
After Pascale Schmidt studied philosophy, psychology and communications she was accepted into the Television and Film School in Munich where she studied directing until 1989. Since then she has been working as director/producer and screenwriter. In 1990, she produced her first feature length documentary "Playing it Safe", for ZDF.
Her feature length documentary "The Sky Kisses the Mountains" was enthusiastically received at festivals and was successfully released in German theatres. It was recently nominated for the "Grimme Prize", Germany's most prestigious prize for television works.
